LEARN ALL ABOUT STUART
Although Stuart plays keys in the Sound of Springsteen, his first love was drums; playing rock, heavy metal and grunge in covers bands. As time went on, exposure to musicians including Ray Charles, Billy Preston and Dudley Moore sparked an interest in jazz and blues and prompted a transition to keys.
Stuart has been playing professionally for over 20 years, performing in theatres, festivals and clubs across the UK and Europe, while writing and recording original music for bands and short films. Stuart also played at Steve Coogan’s 50th birthday party, which he cites as a who’s who of British comedy and a career highlight. More recently, he has also worked as an educator and musical director in schools and colleges across the South East.
Stuart is delighted to be back to his rock roots through Roy J Bittan’s keyboard parts, which are integral to The Boss’ unique sound.

A couple of random facts about Stuart: he is an undefeated limbo champion and once had breakfast with Frank Zappa’s drummer, Terry Bozzio, at a Little Chef on the A127.
